As a design student, she was exposed to a diversity of design disciplines, including sound design, video making, 3D-design, sensory-based design, furniture design, and more. She was a teaching assistant for MFA Visual Communications where her love for producing visual content arose. Johana has also authored a thesis publication titled “Entitled versus Untitled” based on her design research of Qatar’s society. She gained experience learning from and experimenting in different fields of work. She was a voice-over artist and sound producer at QF Radio, as a news presenter in the morning show and co-hosting a weekly style show.
She wanted to explore design in different industries and joined the Hexagon team as a Media Designer: producing, editing and designing content!
