After a Bachelors in Applied Languages & International Relations, a Master’s Degree in Marketing & Communication, Giulia graduated with Honors with a Postgraduate in Fashion, Design & Luxury Management from the French Fashion Institute in Paris. She studied Fashion Journalism at the London College of Fashion for a year and has written articles for Le Monde, Grazia and Glamour. She went on to work for several start up fashion labels as well as established luxury brands in Paris, London and the US.
After helping launch a sustainable fashion showroom in Los Angeles, Giulia moved to Doha in 2014, where she spearheaded leading regional retailer Salam Stores’ marketing department for over 3 years and had the chance to manage and produce several digital editorials, events, fashion shows and photoshoots, TVCs and full-fledged advertising campaigns in collaboration with international photographers, agencies and luxury fashion brands such as Fendi, Alice Temperley, Corneliani and Grazia Qatar.
After many years on the client side, she decided to try her hand at production and organized the first ever Middle-East Chainsmokers concert event, from logistics to marketing, in collaboration with National Tourism Council as part of the Shop Qatar festival, produced several TVC’s as a film producer with The Film House, including the first-ever launch film of Doha Metro. Giulia was then hired as a consultant and developed marketing, social media and PR strategies for the launch of sbe hotel Mondrian Doha and several clients at M&C Saatchi such as Mall of Qatar.
She then joined globally recognized advertising agency J. Walter Thompson and managed the National Museum of Qatar account for over a year, overseeing the much-acclaimed launch campaign and opening of the NMoQ in March 2019 along with its communication efforts throughout the year offline and online, and has been leading on the Msheireb Properties account, including the development of Msheireb Downtown Doha and Msheireb Museums campaigns and social media strategies.
She joined the Hexagon family in September 2020 as Business and Marketing Director.
